This mission report provides detailed information on the 7.8 magnitude earthquake that struck Nepal in 2015, which created large scale damage and a high number of casualties.

The report contains estimations of related damages and risks following the earthquake and how response to such an event should be carried out. The document was produced by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in collaboration with the Office of the Humanitarian Coordinator and humanitarian partners, covering the period from 25 April to 31 July 2015.
